| Children Travel Checklist |

When families are getting ready to travel, it gets crazy trying to figure out what we need to take with us to pick up our child that may have never been exposed to things that children we may interact with on a regular basis. Being that both of the founders have adopted and went through the process of traveling 16 hours or more hours to bring their children home, they put a list of items that they found were helpful. Although, these mothers adopted all girls they are depending on other blended families to inform them on what boys items were very useful for that long travel home.

Checklist Infants 0 - 12 months old
- diapers ( lots of them)
- baby wipes (lots of them)
- little plastic bags (for disposal of diapers and wipes)
- "starter" foods like rice cereal, one type of baby food
- powdered formula
- "drop in" style bottles
- small toys with moveable parts or that light up, make noise, etc.
- bibs
- more clothes than you think you will need
- vaseline
- lotion
- diaper rash ointment
- blanket sleepers (it is cold at night)
- infant thermometer
- socks
Checklist for Toddler
Ages 2 - 4 years old
- Baby doll or stuffed animal
- Stroller
- Diapers
- Wet ones
Checklist For Older children
Ages 4 years old & Up
- Book bag (Individual for each child if siblings)
- CD player (instead of MP3 because can bring batteries for travel)
- CD's with children's songs
- Spiral Notebook (for writing or drawing)
- Crayons
- Coloring Books
- Barbie Dolls
- Barbie Doll Clothes
- Stickers
- Pencils
- Case to put all writing utensils in
- Small pencil sharpener
- Hair products
- Rubber bands
- Snacks
- Toothbrush
- Crocs or Flips Flops (Not sure of shoe size)
- Small Hand electronic games
***We need some advice on what you needed for your 2-4 year old child when you picked them up.
